Twice we made it to this iconic city. I found a place that was very diverse and colourful – modern glass clad buildings in the centre, colourful, cute, rich, rundown, homeless, bustling, alternative in the other parts.
Once Again
During Tommy’s and my last days in California, a meeting/talk/interview for Twitter brought us back to San Francisco where we stayed at an Air bnb for just short of two days. We explored the down town area and got to see a lot – tourists, street art, little local stores of all sorts (I left some money at one of those, klick), superbig (and expensive) chain stores, hills, cable cars, too many homeless people and much more.
San Francisco has many faces – sadly the run down, addicted and lost ones are as much part of it as the colorful, dancing and playing once.
