February – May — Greece
. . . visiting the tiny Greek island Skyros, where I worked with the short but big-hearted horses endemic to the island, Read&See

3 Days – March — Germany
. . . the world is in a different place – corona hits the whole planet

April – June — Netherlands
. . . slowing down, reading, being alone, being with others, falling apart and coming back together, a few times
. . . learning with and from Steef and her two beautiful horses, Utile and Gallinette
. . . learning with and from Chantal and her amazing dog, Sedna
. . . celebrating friendship, remembering how important it is to appreciate one another for who we are
July – August — Austria
. . . visiting old places, making them new
. . . meeting beautiful Sendi (horse), learning with her and her owner, trying out, playing
. . . making hay
Beginning of September — Back to Germany
. . . Ideenwiese Corona version – coming together without expectations, enjoying, creating, dreaming
. . . I stayed for as long as I hadn’t stayed in one place since I left
. . . and still I moved, going back and forth between places of heart, friends, family
. . . figuring out ways to make a living
. . . and then an opportunity came to me, my old and my new lives meeting
November – July 2021
. . . working at a Rudolph Steiner school in my hometown, teaching biology to grade 9, 10, 11 and 12
. . . diving into teaching again, diving into teaching at a school with another concept
. . . livng with my mom and the challenges it brings of something like 6 weeks
. . . amidst a global pandemic and the challenges it brings
. . . just before Christmas going to school physically stops and we move into distance teaching, online learning. I am curious for the chances it brings, chances of living individual rhythms, of exploring teaching, meeting children in their homes through screens. I move into moving again, teaching from different places, combining my nomadic life with my “old” profession
. . . I fall into romance unexpectedly and out of it again
. . . I get to know a milk sheep farm and its inhabitants
. . . romance greets me again around another corner, not so unexpected this time, bringing mirrors and lessons and transforming to friendship
. . . physical school comes back and I live in a youth hostel for some time – first inside and later in my car, parked on the property
. . . I meet myself over and over in this mirror of job and school and teaching, exploring who I am, who I have become and where my path is leading me. I could stay but I don’t want. It is not me, not my path. I am grateful for the lessons, the time, the connections, the money and I continue.
. . . I finish the school year and say goodbye – until next time
July – October
. . . I enjoy the summer, move some more – friends, heart places, family, times of plenty
. . . New places are coming up, new people
. . . and on the horizon a place in another country, a place that has accompanied me in my periphery since 2018
